The Pilates reformer machine is a bed-like frame with springs for rolling back and forth. The movement enables a more dynamic and targeted workout. The springs can be adjusted to create more or less resistance, changing the difficulty of each exercise. Straps can also be attached to the arms or legs to target specific areas.

When we say strengthen the core, we don’t just mean your superficial abdominal muscles. In fact, your core comprises entire midsection of the body, front, back, top and bottom. It’s your centre of gravity and is central to almost all movements of the body. Core strength is crucial for all ages, and for people of all activity levels. Pilates helps strengthen the core by promoting proper alignment, and by training these muscles to engage when they are needed.
