Hydrotherapy is a form of treatment or exercise that is conducted in a heated pool with instruction by a Physiotherapist. It combines the use of the hot water and buoyancy to aid in muscle relaxation and minimise joint compression, which allows patient specific mobility and strengthening exercise programs to be conducted against the resistance of water. Hydrotherapy is mainly used to;
